ANNEALED WIRE

ANNEALED WIRE

What is Annealed Wire?

Annealed wire made of carbon steel wire is produced by annealing method after cold wire drawing process. It is used in construction areas as well as in homes. Annealed wire has different properties according to its usage area and purpose. It is frequently used especially in agricultural areas. It has the feature of shaping as you want. It is known as 'binding wire' in the construction industry. The reason for the annealing of carbon steel wire is to regain the flexibility lost during cold drawing. It can be produced in rolls in different sizes or weights according to the purpose of the user who will use the annealed wire.

Annealed wire is used as tie wire in packaging, building and construction industries due to its easy workability. For the requests of our customers, black wires of appropriate diameters, drawn with wire drawing machines from wire rods of appropriate diameter and quality, are produced in the desired tensile strength range by annealing in vacuum or nitrate annealing crucibles under atmosphere and temperature control.

Annealed wire is used for tying logs, bale wire, construction works for different purposes. Another usage area is to be used for connecting rebars in constructions. It is one of the products with a high demand rate because of its easy formability.

It has the feature of being easily processed. During annealing, the hot and cold formable properties of the material are increased. Annealed wire production is carried out completely in line with customer demand.
